Ae Mere Humsafar from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak revived in All is Well
Another blockbuster in the making, T- Series has recreated the magic of the cult song 'Ae Mere Humsafar' from the Aamir Khan-Juhi Chawla starrer, Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak in their upcoming film All Is Well.
The music giants have recreated the song for a highlight scene in the family-entertainer, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Asin and Supriya Pathak. Director Umesh Shukla wanted a travel song in the film and used the QSQT track first as reference. The song fit so well that it soon turned out to be a part of the movie and since they had the music rights of the original track, Bhushan Kumar decided on recreating the song for All is Well. The composer - singer jodi of Mithoon and Tulsi Kumar who have collaborated before to give hit tracks like 'Mujhe Ishq Se' from Yaariyan and 'Naam E Wafa' from Creature 3D were brought on board for the song. The song is added as a background score in a crucial part of the film which takes the story forward. The additional lyrics written by Amitabh Verma speaks about the situation and blends well with the story.
Confirming the news says producer Bhushan Kumar, "Yes we will be reviving 'Ae Mere Humsafar' from Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. It is an iconic song that is fondly remembered even today. The song was the ideal fit for the scene and hence we have decided to use it in the film". Varun Bajaj, producer adds, "We were looking for a soulful song which epitomizes the relationship between Abhishek and Asin, Bhushan ji suggested this song and we all knew it was just perfect."
Directed by Umesh Shukla, produced by T Series and Alchemy Film Productions, the movie is slated to release on Aug 21, 2015.
