I am annoyed arrey script toh achchi honi chahiye - Kareena Kapoor Khan on walking out of Section 84

Kareena Kapoor Khan is annoyed, in fact super annoyed. Reason being that those unknown to her seem to know a lot more about the films that she is rejecting, the reasons behind that as well as the advice they are happy to give away freely about the career choices that she must be making. This, when they haven't gone through the scripts coming her way, the treatment a director has in mind to offer to a film, and the criteria that she has set for the movies that she wants to be a part of henceforth.

No wonder, with the whole brouhaha around Section 84 and Kareena Kapoor Khan politely saying no to proceeding with the film, the lady is hardly left amused with her exit continuing to make news.

"Arrey I don't understand why are people talking about it so much. They don't even know anything about the character. Pehle toh they went and confirmed that I am doing the film when I had not even gone through the script. Then jab I said that it wasn't working out for me, they say ki maine walk out kar diya. Kab kiya? Was there even an official announcement," wonders Kareena Kapoor Khan.

"I am sorry to say but I am not a part of the film. I guess that should put the records straight now," says Kareena in a matter of fact tone.

She isn't against Raj Kumar Gupta as an individual, especially with the credentials that include No One Killed Jessica and Aamir.

"I am genuinely saying that I am very fond of Raj. He is a bright guy. May be he will make his next and we will work together," says Kareena, while not really closing her doors in the director.

As for her reasons behind not going ahead with the film, Kareena Kapoor Khan says, "See, when I have to pick up a film, especially when it is a heroine oriented script, then it has to be perfect on paper at the least. Agar paper par hi nahi hogi toh I am not going to it."

No wonder, in the trend of super-powerful female oriented scripts like Kangna Ranaut's Tanu Weds Manu Returns and Deepika Padukone's Piku making waves, Kareena wants one for herself which is super-good as well, and not just something which is supposed to be interesting because it is female-centric.

"This is the reason why I am so annoyed when people tell me that I shouldn't let go of a meaty role. Arrey agar meaty hai to phir script bhi toh achchi honi chahiye. A story has to work for an actor. Period," she makes her point clear.

Perhaps Udta Punjab and Balki's next with Arjun Kapoor would be the ones for Kareena that would do the trick.
