It seems like Eros international's Bajirao Mastani directed by Sanjal Leela Bhansali has run into a spot of trouble. In fact, we hear that the Peshwa family has taken objection to the way they have been depicted in the film that features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra.

Apparently, the heirs of Bajirao, depicted in the film, have taken the matter to court, that in turn has directed the Central Board of Film Certification to ensure that the film is not granted a censor certificate until the plaintiffs demands have been met. Though details of what caused the objections are unclear, the makers of the film Eros International have denied about any objection being raised.

As for the film, Bajirao Mastani that promises to be one of the biggest period dramas is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali along with Eros International and is slated to release on December 18.
